I just found your blog -- thank you!
I "discovered" gymnastics during the 1992 Olympics. I taped every single minute of gymnastics aired during the Olympics, and watched my tapes over and over and over again. Same in 1996 -- seeing Keri Strug's final vault still makes me cry.
Between going to college, and then starting life in the real world, I completely missed Vanessa Atler, the 2000 Olympics, Carly Patterson, and the 2004 Olympics. Of course, I recently caught up via YouTube. In the months leading up to the Olympics, I found a whole group of gymnastics blogs, and now feel as informed as a total outsider to the sport could be. I just hope that some of these bloggers keep posting, and I hope you do too!
